Problems with WIFI

My wifi connection is bad, and I am often disconnected or have a bad connection. At the same time my husbands Iphone 8 connects very well. It doest matter if it is our local WIFI at home or some other WIFI in a hotel or other public places. Always bad wifi connection. What can be done?

We have tried to reboot the phone without result.

In an Apple store they recommended us to try this forum.
