I am using an iPhone 8 Plus and was composing a reply to an email address I had tapped on from a news report. At the end, I needed to check one spelling so used lookup which took me out to another screen and now I cannot find the original email. It is not in drafts. Any ideas gratefully received - it was quite long!

If you have multiple email accounts added on your iPhone, please check under each account. There is a separate Draft folder in every mail account (Google, Yahoo, AOL, iCloud, Outlook, Exchange or any Other.
If it is not in any Drafts Folder, then it is gone.
Re-compose it.
