disabled iphone

My Iphone has been disabled for 32 hours or longer. It says to connect it to itunes but itunes will not allow me to sync my phone! I am getting really frustrated!

iPhone 8, iOS 12

You don't sync the phone, you put it in recovery mode and restore the phone to factory settings and not backup.
