Text messages

I can’t send text messages, but I can receive them. How do I fix this?

iPhone 6, iOS 12

Is it green or blue messages? If it green messages then it a carrier issue and blue would be iMessage.

Try some of the steps in the article linked above if they fail, contact your carrier.


I would also try 'Setting > General > About' first to see if you get a carrier update message.
