My apple watch shows "Too Many Passcode Attempts, Reset Apple Watch and pair again". I was about to follow the reset instruction in General with Apple Watch app in my iPhone. But before reset, I unpaired the watch from phone and now I'm not able to reset / pair it again. Please help me to resolve the issue at earliest

Reset / Unpair / Erase are all different ways to spell the same function. If your first attempt failed use the second method (watch on its own) in If you forgot your Apple Watch passcode - Apple Support and it should get you back in action.
