Questionable email

Received an email from secure@apple.com

The email stated that my apple ID has been used to make illegal purchases (Fraud).

Statement New Summary Order Report.

The email wants me to check a PDF to verify my account.

Is this legitimate?

Thanks for your help!

No. Its a scam or phishing attempt.

Apple will never send you an attachment of any kind in reference to a purchase, and will never ask you to verify your account inside a PDF.
