Different iCloud on mac and iPhone

I don't know or understand much about iCloud so this might be a simple question.

For some reason, I have logged into a different iCloud on my macbook than on my iPhone. On my macbook I'm logged into my own iCloud account but on my iPhone I am logged into my brother's iCloud account. Now this is problematic as I can't put my iPhone photos on my macbook so the storage of my iPhone is full right now. Now I was wondering if, when I log out of my brother's account on my iPhone and log into my own, I will loose all the photo's or will they automatically be transferred from his account to my own?

Hope someone can help me!

There may be some data loss, but you can minimize it. If syncing photos with iCloud, ensure Optimization is turned off in Settings/Your Name/iCloud/Photos and/or in Photos/Preferences/iCloud. Then make sure full resolution photos are on the device/computer. When signing out of iCloud, if asked whether you want to retain data, choose yes. Messages conversations will be lost if they are addressed to the ID. See the article below for other places that the old ID should be removed.
