Printer Scanner icon

My husband's Printer Scanner icon is missing from Preferences. The printer comes up when printing, but there is no icon......weird! One minute it was there and the next .....POOF!

iMac 21.5" 4K, macOS 10.14

Hello,

This can be caused from accidentally dragging a panel in System Preferences out of the window. This causes System Preferences to hide the desired icon. Please refer to the following Apple support document for assistance in revealing the icon.
