A lot of companies discontinue service to certain apps, especially ones that aren't compatible with newer iOS versions. I can't use WatchESPN any more because ESPN has shifted all of its functions to the main ESPN app. In your case it's just too old.
Can you access Netflix through Safari?

If you already had these apps on any iDevice previously, you can go into the iOS App Store app and under the Purchases menu option, look for these apps and attrempt to re-download the older version of these apps tbat way.
