Is it possible to connect a MacBook Pro 2017, Two Thunderbolt 3 ports to VGA Input (female) Monitor?

Hi all,

I have a MacBook Pro 2017 (Two Thunderbolt 3 Ports) and would like to connect it to a larger monitor screen.

  • The monitor screen that I would like to dedicate to this project, has a VGA (female) port and, it also has an HDMI port (female).
  • I would like to work from the large, monitor screen, instead of it being simply a mirror image, if at all possible.
  • If that cannot be accomplished, I would still like to know how to connect my MacBook Pro to the monitor and have a larger screen experience.

Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

Use HDMI and extended desktop mode rather than mirror display mode.
