Couldn’t add money to my apple id/itunes balance

Dear Apple/community,

today I tried to add some money to my account, €10,79 to be exact, but after I paid the app store said that my purchase couldn’t be processed at the moment. However, when I look at my baning app it says that €10,79 has been paid to Apple. When I look at my appleID balance I still only see the 20 cents I already had on my account.

Will the money still be added later (today), but it just needs to take some time, or is my money lost and how do I go from there?

I hope someone has a solution to this issue.

It's possible you are only seeing a temporary hold for the amount, and that it will go back onto the card (how long that takes varies by card issuer, but generally it's within a few days).
