iCloud and iCloud Drive

I have 2TB of iCloud storage however, my iCloud Drive is saying it’s full. From my understanding, I thought ICloud Drive is backed up to iCloud. It appears they aren’t synching. I have 1.75TB of storage left. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

You can delete massive documents / files / folders from icloud drive ( open finder under iCloud Drive section - in documents section ) , right click on them and move to trash , if they are not of use restart the Mac and empty the trash , make sure you have turned on iCloud Drive , and set up desktops and documents .
