How to change which email receipts are sent to?

I bought a lot of games on my account, and want the receipt to get it credited on their web stores as well. The account I bought it on has the Apple ID email set to an email I deleted. I have updated my email address but it still resends email receipts to the old email. Do I need to add a payment method to have receipts sent to my new email? Any help is appreciated.

I have signed in and out, but haven’t updated payment information. However, an alternate method for people who can’t or won’t put in a payment method is to contact apple support, send screenshots of your purchase history, and have the receipts manually emailed to the new email by them.
