will removing pictures and files rom the MacPro also delete them from iCloud?

Yes when iCloud Drive is set up https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204025

And in Mac system preferences > iCloud the box of photos is checked and synced with www.icloud.com if you delete photos / files from Mac they will be deleted from icloud.com but moved to recently deleted folder and kept for 30 days , after 30 days time period they will get deleted from the server , you can read this article https://support.apple.com/en-in/HT204247
