Is it bad to keep MacBook Pro charged in all the time ?

I have my MacBook Pro charged in and once it charges till 100% I just leave the charger connected to the MacBook Pro. Reason behind this is because I am still using it, whenever I shut down my MacBook Pro, I always unplug the charger from it. So it’s usually always left at 100% when it’s shut down.

is my way of using my mbp going to damage or deteriorate it’s battery faster ? If so what are some other stuff I can do

Shouldn't be a problem. I believe even the newer models have the mechanism where it actually varies between 95% and 100% when it's plugged in. It will stop charging once it reaches 100%. Then self-discharge or any supplemental power (beyond what the power adapter can supply) requirements will drain the battery until it goes under 95%. It won't start charging the battery again until it dips below this value.

This is designed to keep the battery from being excessively charged to 100%. I believe other Apple devices do the same, but it's kept transparent to the user. For instance, it seems kind of odd that I can be using my iPhone for 20 minutes and it's still reporting 100% battery charge level.
