final cut
I import a file into Final cut at 720 x 420 DV but when it it edited and I export it from the timeline, as a master file it changes the resolution to 640 x 480. Is there a setting I am missing?

If you select a clip in the Info inspector you’ll see the clip properties if you select a project you can press Cmd-J to see the project properties.

Check your project properties. I'm not seeing the behavior you describe. If I export to master file I get 720x480.
Hi Tom,
Can you tell me where the properties setting is?
Thanks
Rolly
HI Tom,
Thanks for the info. Found the issue. When I did the CMD-J, I was able to modify it to the proper 720 x 420 DV.
Great help
