What’s the history here? Did you just obtain this iPhone? Did you have this telephone number previously? If so, what type of telephone was it housed on? What was it’s voicemail setup? What type of cleanup process did you go through when migrating to the iPhone? Was the telephone number with AT&T previously?

It literally is the craziest thing. I’ve had iPhones for 10+ years, (very familiar with them) and just got this new phone, iPhone XS Max brand new when I bought my new Mac this last February from the apple store. Everything migrated over perfectly but I’ve never had visual voicemail set up on any of the phones. Once I decided I wanted to use it, last week, I’ve been trying to set it up, reset my password etc. etc. but nothing seems to work. Hopefully apple can help me this am. Have phone appt at 10
