I'm using an iMac, Mojave, V 10.14.6 and screen shot does not work. Shift, Command-5 does nothing. Shift command-4 does nothing. I use screen shot a lot and this is a bummer. Any ideas how to fix?
You running any AV or any so called cleaning junk-ware on your Mac's?

Have you changed keyboards or modified any keyboard shortcuts?

I have Norton and Time machine. Nothing else. Here's a curveball.
When using Teamviewer and connecting to my computer 100 miles away I can nature fine.
I just tried it and it's now working again. Go figure?
No, same problem on my MacBook, just a few seconds ago it started working again. Very weird indeed. Thanks for reaching out to help
And now, a minute later screen shot commands not working again. I'm stumped
You do not need Norton or any other AV junk-ware on your macOS. All you need to do, is keep macOS up-to-date.
