Safari problems

I have a:

MacBook Pro (Retina, 15", mid 2014)

2.5 GHz Intel Core i7

16 GB 1600 MHz DDR3

Running Mac OS High Sierra v 10.13.6.

Safari keeps opening and closing on it's own. Just every now and then it automatically opens, flashes a browser tab and then closes. Sometimes it opens automatically and stays open requiring me to quit the application manually. Anyone ever experience this? Should I maybe reinstall the complete operating system?

Try setting up another admin user account in System Preferences/Users & Groups to see if the same problem continues. Please post back on whether or not this worked. Also try the Safe Mode. Please post back on whether or not this worked.
