How to connect iPad Pro to an iMac
My wife just purchased a new iPad Pro 12.9" and now wants to connect it to her iMac.
Her iMac only has USB 2 but the iPad Pro only has USB C. 🤯
How can she do this?
Thanks
Blake

You're looking at the wrong cable. This is what you need: https://www.apple.com/shop/product/HN892ZM/A/mophie-usb-a-cable-with-usb-c-connector-1-m?fnode=91

Thanks rbrylawski
I must be missing something because I looked at this adapter on Apple's site but don't see how to connect it.
This adapter takes a male end of the USB cable but the iMac also only takes the male end of a USB cable.
I guess I'd need to also purchase a male-to-male USB cable to go along with it, correct?
By purchasing a USB C to USB A cable from Apple. Go to your Apple Store or even Best Buy.
Excellent!
Yes that one looks right.
Thank you rbrylawski
