refund app purchase

I downloaded an app recently and it said it was free for so many days (possibly 7 or 14?) It then said it would charge me after this date and so I did not want to be charged so I deleted the app on the same day I downloaded it. I tried looking to see how to unsubscribe but I couldn’t so I thought deleting the app would be ok? I’ve now been charged and would like your support please to sort this out? I can’t afford to pay £18.49 for an app I haven’t used.

Deleting an app only deletes the app, it does not stop a subscription. To do that : View, change, or cancel your subscriptions - Apple Support


Purchases are considered final as you know, but you could try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund you as a one-off : http://reportaproblem.apple.com


Or you can try contacting iTunes Support via : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ww (click on your country's flag, the country where you live, and which is therefore the country on the account ; click on Contact Support towards the top right ; click on Get Help under 'Talk To Us’)
