My iPhone XR , won’t connect to Car Play.
When it is plugged in to the USB for Car Play it comes up as charging and then not charging.
So it is constantly beeping where it connects and dissconnects.
Because of this it wont connect for Car Play.
I have no issues connecting it to any other USB device at home.
It is very annoying, it’s my wife’s Car and all the other iPhones in the house connect fine.
Any ideas.

Hi,
thank you for your reply, but I think it is a power issue rather than a software or firmware issue.
It is the power to the phone that connects and dis connects constantly.
As the other iPhones (iPhones 6 )in the house work perfectly I can only think that my XR requires more power than them and the cars USB doesn’t produce enough.
I don’t know if there is a solution to this but I hope there is.
