Hi,

first you will need to make sure your HomePod is set up correctly. Here's how to get your HomePod up and running - https://support.apple.com/en-gb/HT208241

Once you have done this you will be able to use airplay to play audio from your iPhone using HomePod. Follow this link to learn more about Airplay audio - https://support.apple.com/en-afri/HT202809

Keep in mind that airplay uses wifi, not bluetooth, to stream audio and your devices must be on the same wifi network in order for airplay to work.
