Need help cancelling an app I accidentally bought

Purchases are considered final as you know, but you could try the 'report a problem' page to contact iTunes Support and see if they will refund you as a one-off : http://reportaproblem.apple.com

I accidentally bought an application I went into the Apple store and was helped by one of your sales staff in canceling he application and asking to remove the charges., But the $83.93 cents still showed up on my September 2019 statement.

How does it show on the account ? If a subscription does it say it has/will expire ? Have you contacted iTunes Support and asked for a refund ? What did they say ?
