double talk with dictation

.. The double input doesn't happen if you write at least one letter manually and finish the dictation by pressing the escape button. Or any other button on the keyboard. Especially in this forum you must write one letter manually before because otherwise the writing which says tell us what is in your mind is somehow overlaid by the writing.

Yes thats very likely, because it is a safari related issue, by the way the problem still persists in the latest Safari version 13.0.

It is also in Sierra. I have no computer with High sierra but one with Sierra. But it's only in Safari.... no difference if youuse dictation in a forum or in a web form like a search engine for example

Most people cure it by quitting Safari after getting another browser like...

then restarting & never using Safari again.
