I have a Logitech C922. I want to use it to record directly in Final Cut Pro X in the same way you can use the FaceTime camera when you choose "Import Media."
Is this possible? I can't get Final Cut Pro to recognize the Webcam.
The work around of course, it to use Quick Time to make a "movie recording" which does see the C922 and then save that and import it into FCP.

Thanks for that. No one else seemed to be able to answer it. I figured that must be the situation.
FCP won't record from the camera. QT is your best way.
