after installing Catalina, one app keeps closing down in my Mac

Does anyone know what to do? Because my Mac is out of warrantee, I cannot get any help from apple

Thanks for your help. It is the App and not the Apple that shuts down. Here is part of the error message it gives me:

The last time you opened EGW Writings, it unexpectedly quit while reopening windows. Do you want to try to reopen its windows again?

If you choose not to reopen windows, you may have to open and position the windows yourself.

Contact the app developer. This is most likely a problem with the application, not your Mac.

No way. I have used it almost daily for 2 years and soon as the upgrade to Catalina came, it happened. Catalina does not even allow us to delete and reinstall the app. and that is unacceptable.
