Can’t print from ipad

Can’t print from ipad

I cannot seem to print from my iPad. When I ask to print a document, it finds the printer but still won’t print. Have tried turning printer on and off, wi-fi on and off, iPad on and off etc, butto no avail.

make sure you are using a printer that supports AirPrint and not trying to connect to the printers wireless broadcast ID

are both devices on the same wireless network, is the printer wired? USB?

is your iPad up-to-date with iOS?

I have an air printer HP Envy 4524 which shows as compatible but still not printing

Printer shows up on wi-fi, and iPad is up to date as regards IOS
