I get a pop up every few seconds saying I've got malware

I just downloaded Catalina and now I get a pop up every few seconds saying I've got Malware. I click "move to trash" or "cancel" and it keeps coming back. It repeats about every two pop ups. First is "helpermcp" and the second is "maftask". They just keep coming...

If you suspect you have installed adware/malware. Try running this trusted utility https://www.malwarebytes.com/mac/

first, then try again your upgrade.
