Retina Screen Display issues

I switched on my MacBook Pro with retina display yesterday evening that I got in March 2017. As soon as i switched on i observed a half inch wide vertical dark line on display. immediately i have observed there was what looked like a small tear on the lower left edge of the screen. I turned the brightness down and saw that there was no damage to the glass, or the aluminum backing of the display. No incident or accident occured but the display problem shown up

It sounds like the LCD panel is cracked. Take the laptop to Apple or an Apple Authorized Service Provider to be examined and get a repair estimate.
