Upgrading iPod Touch from iOS 8.4.1 to 9.3.5

Hi,

I'm trying to upgrade an iPod Touch 5th generation from iOS 8.4.1 to 9.3.5.

So, I tried (main screen) > Settings > General > Software Update ; then it reports that an upgrade to 9.3.5 is available; so I select "Download and Install"; it shows the progress indicator; then the progress indicator disappears, and nothing more happens.

What can I do to get around this problem?

Regards,

Albert.
