I backed up my phone to I tunes, but I can not find them on my computer. I do not know where they went. where else can I look it they are not showing up on my I tunes
Perhaps that value is related to your iCloud free storage.
You need more space on your iPhone, or you won't be able to update its iOS.

Ok, the iPhone 5 was not available with higher capacity that 64gB, so we need to check actual usage.
Please check at: Settings - General - About - Capacity = ??? Available = ???
You can only buy the iPhone 5s with max. 64 GB, so the 149.32 GB available is certainly NOT from your device.
