Most of the Fujitsu ScanSnap devices are supported by the paid, non-subscription, 64-bit VueScan product. Check your VueScan ScanSnap support. Of particular importance is if VueScan provides support for the particular ScanSnap device without any vendor software or drivers required. VueScan is less expensive than a new scanner purchase where the vendor has dropped support for the device on Catalina.
