Facebook loads. Most of the tabs work. However, the posts fromm friends are not getting loaded. the app keeps on asking me to refresh but that does not solve thhe problem. However for the same user id, Facebook App in a Samsung phone works.

Facebook loads. Most of the functionality is OK. Friends, Market Place, Notifications are all working satisfactorily. However, on the main wall, Posts are not getting loaded. Instead I am asked to refresh again and again. I have tried the following:

Deleted and reinstalled Facebook App from the App store.
Switched off the iPhone and restarted.
Cleared the Cache and deleted most of videos and photos to clear the memory.

The problem is experienced in both my i Phone r and iPhone SE.

The Operating system software are updated to the latest standards. ( SE has version 13.2.2; iPhone 6 has the version 12.4.3

Incidentally, for the same user id, Facebook works perfectly on a Samsung phone.

Please help.

true that Facebook is an Apple product. However the reason that the App is fully functional on an android phone but not so in an IPhone clearly points to some software issue with the iOS. that is the reason I posted the problem in this forum.

No it doesn't, it points to a problem with Facebooks application which they write for iOS. Wait a few days and they will have a new version up, delete the versions on your iOS devices then install again. Hopefully the new version will also fix Facebook improperly having access to the camera.

That they allowed access to the camera of the phone is shocking. The world is full of technical wizards who spot and exploit security weaknesses. In India, where I live, there was a recent outcry about a weakness in Whatsapp being exploited to snoop on people including journalists !
