no option to email NOTES

Thanks for replying, aheche, and that additional info, it really helps! Based on your screenshot, the Mail app is not the default app for email, so please open the Mail app on your Mac, go to Mail in the Menu bar and then select the Preferences option and click the General tab. In the General tap, make sure "Default email reader" is set to the Mail app. Then restart your Mac and check the Share options in Extensions in the System Preferences again.

Thanks for that info and for choosing the Apple Support Communities. If I understand correctly, you are unable to share notes on your MacBook Pro by email. To help with this, please go to System Preferences > Extensions, click Share Menu on the left and make sure Mail is enabled.
