Airplay not working on Mid 2012 MacBook pro High Sierra

I have turned on "Show Mirroring Options in the menu bar when available". I have a Samsung Q60R television that supports Airplay as well as AppleTV.


I can mirror my samsung phone to the TV but cannot do the same with the macbook pro. Mirroring does not seem to be avaiable. At least the option to mirror does not show on the menu bar.


Apple TV is turned on on the Samsung TV. I have read the Apple Support document on how to connect but nothing seems to work.


Any help would be welcomed.
