Will A 2010 mac Pro.5.1 2.4GHz 2X4 core Xeon With 24 GB ram run Catalina.

I was told by Apple tech. that it would not work, but I have found 3 mac pro s like mine that are running it .

It is not officially supported. Ask the owners of those systems how they managed to do that.
