Add Friends to my Apple Watch Series 5

Trying to add friends to my watch the app doesn't show up on the iPhone (My Watch). Can anyone help?

Add friends

  1. Open the Activity app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap the Sharing tab. ... 
  3. Tap the Add button and type your friend's contact information.
