IOS 9.3.5 not updating to 13
my ipad has IOS 9.3.5 and will not update to 13. Is this not an option due to it being an older ipad? I am not an apple user except for the ipad so any help would be appreciated.

An iPad 2 isn't capable of running iOS 10 or above.
