iPhone XR Microphone settings

I’ve had issues with some apps that haven’t popped with the option to “Allow app access to microphone”. The only option the pops up is the “Allow app access to camera”. When I tap into the settings the option to allow X app any access to microphone. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling the apps but that hasn’t worked. What could I do?

I found another thread of someone else who had the same problem.

It turns out that when I update to iOS 13.2.3 that the new update did not fully complete properly, even though it appeared that it did. That is what I believe was responsible for there being no option to allow third party apps access to my microphone and camera to use apps like SnapChat etc. Also there was no photos showing up when trying to DM a photo in a third party app.

The only solution to fix this problem that only one person had the right recommendation was that I had to use iTunes to back-up my iPhone 7 and then I had to totally reinstall from that recent back-up using i-Tunes. You will need your Apple user name and password to do this.
