Apple Watch microphone

For some reason the microphone on my Apple Watch is grayed out even though it is enabled for Siri and dictation.

Try checking the following settings on your iPhone:

Settings > General > Keyboard - check that Enable Dictation is turned on.
Settings > General > Restrictions - check that the restriction for Siri & Dictation is not enabled
Settings > General > Siri - disable, pause for a few moments and then re-enable Siri.
