Here are some basic troubleshooting steps. Stop when one fixes it:
- FIRST, restart your router - that will usually fix it
- Go to Settings/Wi-Fi, tap on the i next to the network and Forget the network then try to connect again
- Go to Settings/General/Reset - Reset network settings; this will erase Wi-Fi passwords, but won’t result in and data loss
- Try with other Wi-Fi networks. If it doesn’t work with any your phone has a hardware problem.
