My husband is not very “tech savvy” so we’ve always shared an iCloud account. Is there a way to “share our locations” while being signed into the same iCloud accounts? When I select “use this iPhone as my location” on either phone it changes on both phones so it appears we can only use one device or the other.

I also share an iCloud account, and have found that "feature" to be useless, but what difference does it make when you can see the location of every device logged into that account using the Devices tab?
The issue isn’t necessarily with locating all devices logged into my iCloud account but when sharing location with anyone else not on the same account (like friends or extended family) we’re not able to differentiate between whose device is showing their location. It’s more of an annoyance than a major inconvenience.
