I used migration assistant to transfer content from one older mac to another. I've a perpetual license for MS Office but somehow on the new mac, the license wasn't transferred properly. BTW, I used a backup time machine image to migrate.

As stated above in the title, I took the time machine backup image to the new Macbook Air and used the migration assistant to transfer all content from an older Macbook Air. Everything else seems to have transferred successfully. The only issue now is that MS Office seems to have left the license keys on the older system.
