Don't have access rights when relocating Logic Pro X sound library

When trying to relocate the Logic Pro X sound library to an external hard drive it's greyed out and says "Do not have access rights". There is plenty of space on the hard drive and I have no idea what to do

Has it got your time machine back up on it? you can’t relocate to a drive with time machine back up on.

  • otherwise, click on the drive in finder, look under info, check that the ignore ownership is ticked.

try again.

"the format is Windows NT File System". This is the problem. Supported formats are APFS and MacOS Extended (Journaled).

I did some looking, and as far as I can tell there is no Time Machine backup on there :)

When looking under the get info page I can’t find anything that says ignore ownership, could it possibly say something else?

It’s a 3T WD elements external hard drive, the format is Windows NT File System. Thanks for the help!
