11pro not connecting to Apple watch

I have an iPhone 11pro and cannot get it to pair with my series 1 Apple Watch, name of watch does not appear on 11pro devices

Apple Watch Series 1, watchOS 6

Hi again fieryjack, removed old phone from account, turned off new phone and watch and turned them back on, watch is recognised again

Then you have to remove the watch from your old phone erasing it is not enough.On a computer go to icloud.com and into account settings and in here you can remove the watch and your old phone from your account.
