I have to check e mail on apple account
email was hacked
won’t allow me to use iCloud.com address
sayinf I need to use iCloud assigned to account. That is the one assigned to account. How do I contact apple to clear this up

What makes you feel the account was hacked ? did you revealed your Apple ID address and password to some one if yes start using two factor authentication https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204145
