Save as PDF error

I use Preview as a tool to save multiple images(.jpg) as one pdf file. I have done it many times before but this time with Catalina I got this error:

The printer is turned off when I do this. Any idea? Thanks in advance.

(My steps are: in Preview -> Print... -> Save as PDF ->Save -> Error)

There are several posts on this here, and the possible workarounds are:

1) Use an AirPrint or generic PS/PCL printer, not a printer added with vendor drivers; it doesn't need to be real printer

2) Use "Open in Preview" from the pdf menu in the print dialog

3) Use Preview, File->Export as PDF…

4) Open the PDF in Safari, where Print->Save as PDF works.

5) Turn on "Use Generic Printer Features" in the printer's proxy or the Printers & Scanner System Prefs

This only affects printers added with a vendor driver in Preview.

Hope this helps.
