Emails missing in subfolder gmail
After I did a software update to Catalina 10.5.2, in my gmail subfolder, all my saved emails are missing. Please advise how do I retrieve the emails.

Do you have the emails saved on your Gmail account? aka if you check gmail.com
You might be able to get them there.
If the emails were only saved locally on your mac, you migth be out of luck, unless you have a backup like time machine from before the data loss happned
