“Sign In with Apple ID” for my daughter’s Apple ID spamming my new iPad

I am setting up a new iPad and it keeps asking me to: Enter the password for your Apple ID “my daughter’s Apple ID”. I am already signed in with my own Apple ID. It thinks I have content associated with her Apple ID. If I do have content on this iPad that she purchased, I just want to delete the content, not get asked over and over to log in to an additional Apple ID. I can’t believe this problem isn’t talked about everywhere, it is super annoying and I can’t find what must be a simple answer.

As you noted, a request for another Apple ID password is often caused by updates to apps/purchases that were made when using the other ID. Those purchases are tied to the other ID and can't be transferred. One option is to delete the apps/purchases made by the other ID and download them using the new ID if desired. If necessary, check your purchases history to see which apps/purchases weren’t made by the current ID.
